2013 Election Year

City of Brenham election will be on May 11, 2013.

Due to the passage of SB-100 last year, we will be having both a General Election and a Special Election. The General Election is for four (4) council members for a 4-year term and the Special Election is for one (1) council member for a 2-year term.

Mayor of Brenham:

Five of the seven city council seats are up for election next May after the city council altered the election calendar last year.

General Election – 4 year term Special Election – 2 year term

All of them except Williams would serve four-year terms should they be elected. The seat that Williams holds will serve, according to election date realignment.

Court at Law Judge, County Judge, County Treasurer, County Clerk, District Clerk, Commissioner, Precincts 2 and 4, and all the Justices of the Peace

2014 Election Year

2014 Republican primary election for Governor & Lieutenant Governor Texas U.S. Senators Texas' current U.S. Senators are Senator John Cornyn and Senator Ted Cruz. Senator Cornyn will be 62 years old in the election of 2014.
